The Challenge

Our client, a leading company in the recruitment sector, needed to gain a deep, precise understanding of how job seekers interact with their platform. Their systems generated millions of clickstream events daily—recording visits, specific job views, and navigation paths.

However, this data was massive, highly unstructured, and lacked a central processing pipeline. The sheer volume and velocity made manual analysis or the use of traditional databases impossible. The company was operating somewhat "in the dark", unable to utilize this rich behavioral data in real-time to optimize ad placements or improve content relevance.

Solution and Architecture

DataClarity designed and implemented a modern, scalable Real-Time Analytics Platform, leveraging the power of AWS and Databricks. The goal was to instantly transform raw, high-volume streams into reliable metrics.

  • Real-Time Ingestion: We used Amazon Kinesis to capture and buffer massive streams of raw events with extremely low latency.
  • Lakehouse Processing: Data was routed to the Databricks Lakehouse platform. Using Apache Spark Structured Streaming, we processed unstructured data on the fly, cleansing, enriching, and structuring it into a "Silver" layer for analysis.
  • Scalable Data Storage: All data was securely stored in AWS S3 (Data Lake), providing a cost-effective and infinitely scalable foundation.
  • Serving Layer: Aggregated metrics were exposed via high-performance APIs and BI dashboards, allowing product and marketing teams to see user behavior exactly as it happened.
